Anti-Ship Teases

As much as I hate shipping wars, I also hate ship-teases.

What's a "ship-tease"?: It's a hint that you think that couple you were rooting for to be Canon (like when they kiss or get married); But it turns out to be nothing but a cruel joke the creators made to rub it in the shippers' faces.

Examples:

*In "Spongebob Truth or Square," all of the Spandy shippers were excited that they thought that Spongebob and Sandy were finally gonna get married, but the wedding turned to be nothing but a play

*When the Archie fans poll on "Who Should Archie Marry" came up; Lots of people voted Archie to be with Betty (mostly cause the comics gave out a major hint in one of the comics). But when the spin-off series of Archie and friends as adults were finally published, Archie ended up marrying Veronica.


*And most recently, in "The Looney Tunes Show," there was an episode that I heard had Bugs and Lola getting married.

But did they actually got married? Nope! Instead the writers made Lola cut off the wedding and ran of with Pepe Le Pew!

Where the hell did that came from!?

Lola never showed any feelings toward Pepe or vise versa. And those two never inter-acted.



Sure it might've made the AcexLexi pairing (Loonatics Unleashed) seem less incest (what it was rumored to be because of BugsxLola)

But Lexi hates Piere (the human "desencdant" of Pepe), and can you imagine how gross she would be if she finds out that her ancestor fell in love with a foul-smeling pervert of a skunk.
