Different Styles of Plastic Man

Description

Before Mr. Fantastic from "Fanatstic 4" came along, ex-criminal Eel O' Bryan/Plastic Man was the first & original elestic-powered comic-book hero.

Just like Booster Gold & Wally West's Flash, Plas is more of a comedic hero than a serious one.

Although being under-rated these days, he certainly isn't forgotten from the older DC fans.
You know that one episode of Spongebob called "Mermaid Man & Barnicle Boy 5," where it turns out there was an under-water version of the JL?

The elastic-hero they called "The Elastic Waistband" was actually based off of Plastic Man, not Mr. Fantastic.
He even wore googles like Plas for crying out loud!

Anyways, here's the different styles of the stretchy, shape-shifting crime-fighter. :)

#01. Classic cartoon version: Just like Superman, Plas' style didn't change at all, no matter which studio did his cartoons.

#02. "The Brave and the Bold" version: When TBatB revived the guy for their show, he's somewhat less detailed and more smoother-looking like a rubber-toy.

#03. The DC shorts version: For those who are fans of shows that are styled like "Cow & Chicken" or "Ren & Stimpy," than you'll love these shorts.

Even though the animation-style isn't my cup of tea, I still enjoyed all of the crazyness and humor in them.:giggle:

And voice-actor, Tom Kenny, really got Plas down to a "T" on his voice and dialouge.:thumbsup:

#04. My version: It was a sleeper-idea to come up with a new look for Plastic Man.
Just a mix of the style with some new accessories (like the gloves, under-shirt, and the hair-style).

Oh! And that Matthew Brodrick-looking guy, that's my version of Plas' alter-ego, Eel O' Bryan.
He might not be as good-looking as the other Superhero-egoes I've drawn, but his personality would make it up for that, right? ^^;

And may I ask you guys, can you imagine Plastic Man, Flash, & Booster Gold being a comedic trio?

Plastic Man/Eel O' Bryan belongs to DC Comics & Warner Bros.
