A sequel to the TMNT/Pokemon teams I've made.
Now that April has gotten over her fear of bats (and her father has return to human form), and Karai finally learned the truth about who she really is, two certain Pokemon had come back to them.
*April & Fang: Even though Fang the Noibat is a Dragon-type Pokemon, he still heavily resembles a bat, thus why it was difficult to even try to introduce himself face to face with April without having her scream in terror or throw things at him to shoo him away.
Why does Fang want April want to be his trainer?
According the rules of being a Pokemon Master, they say that if a Pokemon and it's selective trainer share a quirk (as in personality trait or 6th sense gift), they are most likely destined to be companions for life. And Fang does have something in common with April,the gift of telekinesis.
For the heart hovering over Fang, that's just a sign that he's happy that his soul-trainer really came through and accepted him;
But do you think that a certain brainiac mutant reptile would be low enough to take it the wrong way and be jealous of a purple bat as much as he hates Casey?
*Karai & Chikura: Now their story was a lot more darker and tragic because the little Cherrim just wanted to reunite with her mistress and bring her back to the good side, only to meet her doom in the belly of a Seviper.
I never actually thought that people would get attached to a character that never existed in media it didn't belong to.
But I do have news for those who were actually sadden by Chikura's death, it turns out that she wasn't actually eaten by Karai's Seviper.
Splinter's Celebi friend time-traveled and alternate time to save Chikura, but she's only considered dead to those who didn't witness the sacrifice (that included Karai). So Celebi took care of Chikura in a phantom zone to heal her and wait for the right time to return to Karai/Miwa when she finds the truth.
Just like how Karai soon learned that the Turtles were right about their master being her true father; she also learned that the Cherrim she sent her Seviper to devour was a gift from her dad (Karai found Chikura's ribbon and an old card Hamato/Splinter wrote a long time ago; in Shredder's cabinet).
Later, after Shredder locked Karai in the cells for finding out that she raised with a bunch of lies around her; Karai started to feel remorsed for killing an innocent friend who only tried to help her.
That's when Celebi came out of nowhere, and presented Karai with Chikura, alive and well. So this also could be a sign for Karai/Miwa to turn over a new leaf and forget about the dark past.
(This is the second time that i drew the 2012 April, and the first of drawing Karai)
