Once-Ler Meme Part 1

The titles says that because I'm working on 2 Once-Ler memes, and this is the first one I finished.

1. Favorite Scene: Awwwww!! Aren't they just too precious?

2. Meeting the Once-Ler: I'm using that picture for the other meme too. At least I didn't went all crazy and admit to Oncie that I'm a "stalker" (the other fans did that already, and the joke is just like the "Thumbs Up" gag on YouTube).


3. Help Once-Ler sell his Thneed: You can already guess what happened before the picture, and why I blamed the Lorax for the reason why I'm wet.


4. The Thneeds working too well, convince the Once-Ler he needs to stop the factory and see what's happen to the forest:
It maybe too dark for a Seuss-adaptation film for a character to die, but it would be another way to show the Once-Ler what his greed had done to the forest before it's too late.

Plus, if all of the smog and slime was bad enough to make the animals sick and weak, there would be no way that all of them would survive the place to move far away.

And even if it is tragic for one of the animals to die, but it would've also been act of bravery. Like one animal just gave up it's life just bring new hope that the forest will grow back again.
Like say, after everyone leaves, Once-Ler (who's feels really guilty for what he had done) starts to bury the dead body of the Truffula animal that didn't make it. Than the place where the animal was buried began to grow a Truffula sprout, and the Once-Ler would start harvesting the seeds off of the tree to replant the acres of Truffula trees.



5. Anything you'd like to say to the Once-Ler after the last tree has fallen: Other than burring the body of an unfortunate animal, another thing that would've help replant the forest is finding something in the Thneed machine that wasn't made of of smoke or oil.

Which is one thing that bothered me in the book and the 2 movies is the Thneed-making machine, doesn't the words "cotton gin" ring any bells?

Because back in the 1700's when all of our clothes were made out of cotton from the cotton-weed plant, the purpose of the cotton gin was not only to made our clothes more comfortable (because they were so unbearably itchy before the invention), but also to scrape out the cotton-seeds (which was causing the itching) out so people can harvest them so there would be more cotton-weed in the future.

If the Once-Ler had something like that being part of his Thneed-making machine, and a filter to place the seeds in; He still would've kept his promise to the Lorax that no harm would come to the forest, and there would've been enough seeds to replant millions of Truffula trees.
