Return of The Dinosaurs: Pt 10

Serena and the Sinclairs had walks throw many streets to get to the mall, then Charlene spoke up to ask a question, "Serena, if we're all just going to mall, why do we have to wear these tacky jackets and hats while we are in there?", Serena answered "Because if any one sees real dinosaurs like you guys at mall, they would all freak out and start screaming cause they'll think you're gonna eat them",
Robbie turned his head and thought to himself, "That explains why those people at the arcade and theather yesterday looked at me so strangely."  "So is it gonna be just you guiding us through the mall?" Fran asked, "No I called my folks, they'll lead you to different spots at the mall for anything you wanna look at" Serena said to Fran, Robbie then asked Serena "There's one more thing I need to ask you, Serena. About the "town's bar", where is it and what's the name of it?", Serena then said "The "town's bar" is located down South-West from Oak Street and the name of it is "The Orange Cockatoo."  "Orange Cockatoo?" Earl questioned, "sounds like a fancey citrise drink."

They finally got the mall, with Serena's parents waiting in front of the doors, "Okay, now" Abby (Serena's mom) said, "for places we are going to for the prom first, so the places you need to first." "Tux and Tails is down on the left wing, that's where are going to get our tuxedoes" Thaddius said Earl and Robbie, "And we'll go to to Deb's to find our dresses" Abby said to Serena, Fran, and Charlene.
Fran gave Baby to Earl and they all start walking to their destinations, "Can we go to the toys next?" Baby asked, "As all you keep quiet" Earl replied to his youngest son. The boys tried on many different tux until they found the right one and bought them (with Thaddius' money), same thing with the girls who found their dresses. They all met each other by the in-door resturant sections eating pretzels and ice cream.
"I never felt so alive!" Charlene said with joy, "This mall is the greatest! I wish I could live here! By the way Robbie, did you find your tux for the prom? Uh, Robbie?" she asked Robbie. Robbie didn't pay attention cause he's looking all day-dreaming like at Serena, who's talking on the cell phone to talk to a friend. "You got it bad, don't cha?" Charlene smirked at her older brother, "I bet you're day dreaming about you and Serena dancing at the prom."  Robbie finally looked at Charlene all mad, "Charlene, you got ice cream on your face" he said to Charlene, "Where!?!" Charlene began to panic, "Right....there!" Robbie said as he pushes Charlene's ice cream cone on to her snout. After what Baby had seen what Robbie did to Charlene, he thought up an idea to start in on his dad, he hands out his uce cream cone towards Earl, "Aww, you wanna share your iccream with me" gullible Earl said, then Baby throws to ic cream at Earl and laughed "Haha! You're a cone head!"
Earl was about ready to grab Baby, then Baby pretended to cry "Waaaa!!! Mama! Daddy tried to eat my ice cream." Fran turned around and looked Earl all madly "Earl! Stop stealing the baby's food!" she said to her husband. "Franny, I wasn't" Earl try to explain, "that little demon throw it at me!"  "No excusses, Earl!" Fran shouted, "Don't worry, sweetheart. I'll get you another one" she to Baby all softly as she gets up holding a dollar bill, "You are a sneaky little devil!" Earl glared at Baby, Baby gave him a razzberry and laughed again.


Hours later at the Hawthorn's house, everyone is all dressed up to go the Orange Cockatoo. "Why do I have to wear this monkey suit for?" Marlin asked his dad, "It's for Serena's prom at the bar" Thaddius said to his son, "Serena at a prom!? She might as will wear a trash bag while she's going there" Marlin said all rudely. The Sinclairs were all in the living room in their tuxs and dresses while Baby was watching TV, Earl suddenly turned the TV off and Baby shouted, "Hey! I was watching that!" "You can watch that goofy sponge guy when we get back" said Earl.  Fran was trying to help Charlene with her dress, "Charlene, are sure this the right dress for you? It looks too tight on you" Fran asked Charlene as trys to zip the back zipper, "Yes, I'm sure this is a size medium" Charlene said to her mom. "Looks more like you need to fit in a dress the size of a van" Robbie insaulted Charlene in his mind.

Just then, Serena came down the steps with her brown hair all curled up and wearing a pink dress, Robbie became breath-less. "Do you think Serena looks pretty, Robbie?" Baby smirked at him, Robbie couldn't say a word, "Tell her she's pretty, or I'll hit you!!!" Baby shouted as he raised his rattle "Okay! She looks hot! You're happy know!?!" Robbie said to his brother then he quickly shouts his mouth with his face all red as he looks at Serena. "Thank you, Robbie" Serena blushed, "I was gonna say the same thing about you." Robbie puts his hands down and smiled, then Abby came inside with Icarus in her arms and said "The car is ready so lets get going now." Everyone went outside to the car and they drove off to the Orange Cockatoo.  When they got there the place was all crowed with the students from Serena's school who even brought some of their family memebers with them. "Wow! They must really like to party here" Earl said as he looks at the people, "Robbie, why don't you go to the punch bowl and get me some punch while I go talk to my friends" Serena asked Robbie, "Sure!" Robbie answered, "which flavor you want?' he asked Serena cause there are tweleve different punch bowls, "Any kind will do" Serena said nicely as she walks away trying to find her friends in the crowed.

Serena finally spotted Babs and Amy waving at her. Babs had her hair in a bun wearing a tiarra and a sparkley blue dress, while Amy had chopstick in her hair and wearing a kimono. "Hi Serena!" They two side to her, "You look incredible!" Amy said to Serena, "So do you two" Serena to Babs and Amy, "So like, where's your date, Serena?" Babs asked Serena, "We're excited to meet him here!"  "He's  over at the punch bowl" Serena answered, Babs and Amy looked at the food table trying to find Robbie, "Is he the tall guy with the light blue sash around his waist?" Amy asked as point out to a human guy with dark hair, "No that aint him (Robbie's WAY better looking them )" Serena said to her friends, "His the one with the green scales and mohawk-like spikes", she points out Robbie for Babs and Amy. The two girls gasped, "Girl, are you crazy!?!" Babs said to Serena, "He's a dinosaur! He'll eat you!"  "No he won't, Babs" Serena explained, "Robbie is too smart and sweet to that. And dinosaurs do not eat humans at all, they're civilised then you think."
"I hope you're right" Amy said all frightened, "If you don't believe me, I'll show you" Serena said she walks to Robbie.


"Here you go Serena" Robbie said as he gives her a cup of red fruit punch, "Thanks Robbie" Serena said she takes the cup. "So what were you and your friends were talking about?" Robbie asked Serena, "Well it was mostly about you and-" Serena told him, then Robbie spotted his friends Spike and Ed at the billard table outside the crowd, and Robbie interupted, "Will you excusse for a second?"  "Uh, sure Robbie" Serena said all puzzled.  Robbie walked pass through all the people talk to his friends. "Spike!?! Ed!?!" Robbie asked his friends in a shocking way, "What are you two doing here?"  "Hey there, scooter" Spike said, "I see that you're looking sharp for that girl you met yesterday." "Does this party got any veggies?" Ed asked "Cause I'm craving for some." Spike slugged Ed on his head with his fist, "That's not the question we are asking for, you lugnut!" Spike said to Ed, "Where's that babe you were talking about yesterday, Robbie? Is she here?" he asked Robbie. Robbie answered, "Yeah, she's here, Spike. She's that girl right with brown hair and pink dress", he pointed at Serena for Spike and Ed.
Spkie and Ed took one look her, "Whoa." Spike said, "I know, doesn't she look amazing tonight?" Robbie asked to his friends, "No, I mean "whoa" as in I can't believe you got the hots for a human girl!" said Spike.
"Yeah, Rob. That girl is way more out of your leauge then those other girls you dated" Ed said to Robbie, "But she aint like all the girls I dated (or try to date)" Robbie said to his friends, "Serena is alot more then what you think about her, she's the one I've been waiting for all these years."

Ed and Spike started laughing at what Robbie said, "What are you talking about, man!?!" Ed said to Robbie while still laughing, "Yeah, scooter. You couldn't get a real date with the girls back in our time, but now you did get one.....with a descendant of a stupid caveman!" Spike and Ed laughed harder. Robbie looked at his friends with a mad face "Serena is not stupid!" he shouted, "She knows more about us dinosaurs, then most these humans do."  "Oh sure" Spike said sarcastically, "And I'm related to Godzilla" "Hey, Rob" Ed continued, "I bet your kids will be hairy dinosaurs soon", "Hairy dinosaurs?" Spike said to Ed, "You mean they'll be brainless little monkies!"  The two start laughing harder and louder.
"Laugh all you want!" Robbie shouted angerly to Spike and Ed, "I'll show you!" Robbie walks away from them and goes straight to Serena.
