Sleeping Jeri: Chapt. 5

Jeri and her friends were just outside of Slappy's Ice Cream Store, just goofing off.


Jeri: *singing normally* I believe
        I believe
        I believe that everyone has one true love
        To belong to
        Every heart has a whisper in the dark
        That says there's a ray of light to shine through

        I believe
        I believe somewhere in this world,
        I have a true love love too
        Who's the closest thing to heaven *takes a glance of Wales from here*
        I'll find myself when I find you...........

Buster: *spoken the audience saracastically* Let's see Hannah Montana sing that.


"Do you really believe there's someone out their for you?" Fifi asked Jeri.

"Well, yes" Jeri answered as she was about to enter the ic cream store. "But they always treat me like a little kid."

"Who?" Furball asked.

"Oh Yakko, Wakko, and Dot" said Jeri while getting some ice cream from the freezers. "They won't let me be near anyone."

Slappy spoked to Jeri at the cash redgister, "Honey, I know Yakko, Wakko, and Dot since they were three-hundered years old, and their idea of maturity is watching PG-13 rated movies and going to Chipendale's and Night Clubs."

"I guess you're right, Slappy, " Jeri said back.

Jeri turns to her finds to tell them a secret, "But you know what? I've fooled them." "I did met someone."

"Who did you met?" asked Skippy
"Is it someone I'm interested in?" added Buster.

"Oh, it's just a boy," Jeri said a little embrassed

"Not interested," Buster said as he and the boys pouted from knowing this one of the "girl talk" stuff they don't want to hear.

Babs, Shirley, Sweetie, and Fifi got excited about.

"A boy!? Really?" Babs said all hyped

"You have?" added Shirley

"Who is he?" Sweetie added again

"What does he look like?" finished Fifi

Jeri confessed about her dream boy, "Well, I don't know who he is, but all I know is that he's tall and has gorgous eyes."

"Please tell us more!" Fifi wanted to hear more from Jeri.

"Yeah, like, what did the two of you do?" Shirley asked

Jeri confessed again, "Oh just normal stuff that couples do, talking together, laughing at each other jokes, and look around the places we go."

The girls were getting excited, while the boys were making gag faces behind the girls.

"And just before we said good-bye," Jeri added, "He holds me in his arms, and then..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah!?!?" Babs asked with huge grin on her face, and Fifi, Sweetie, and Shirley were getting excited.

"I woke up," Jeri said with frown

"Awwwwwww!" Babs, Shirley, Fifi, and Sweetie sighed sadly with disappointment.

"Shoot! It was all nothing but a dream, huh?" Babs said to Jeri

"Yes, it was "  Jeri said to one of her bunny friends, "But they said if you keep dreaming the same stuff, it might come true."

"Do people really say that stuff?" aked Plucky

"Either that, or an article in of my Astro Girl magazines," Jeri replied.



Skippy looked over across one of the windows of the ice cream store and noticed a dapted jacket and helmet hooked on one of the tree branches.

Skippy throws a walnut that bounced right off of Buster, Furball, Concord, and Plucky's heads.

The boys gathered up to see what was Skippy seeing before he threw the walnut at them.

Buster huddles the boys up and whispers, "Okay, here's the plan. We take the jacket and helmet, and make Jeri have a smile on her face."


The five rushed out of the ice cream to get the jacket and helmet.


When they got there, the noticed that the jacket and helmet belong to Prince Rip, who's sitting by the tree while taking off his wet shoes.

"There was something strange about that voice," Rip said to himself. "It just can't be real. It's always a re-make cause barely anyone sings like that."

"Mabey it was some mysterious being singing," Rip thought as Plucky and Buster were stealing his shoes. "Like a wood sprite, a satarette, or what not."

Rip turns around to find out that someone was taking his shoes, jacket, and helmet.

"Hey! Come back here with those!" Rip shouted trying to catch up to the five little anthros.



For an anthro roadrunner, was too far away and slow to catch up to the boys.

Furball puts the jacket around Buster, and Skippy puts the helmet on his head.

Plucky puts on Rip's shoes, while the others started to stack on top of him, with Buster on top and Concord flying to help the boys balance each other.

Plucky started walking and Buster had a "superior" look on his face.




The girls were still outside of the ice cream store just talking, then they turn around to find the boys.

"Why, it's my dream boy" Jeri gaped sarcastically. She already knows it's the boys trying to cheer her up.



Jeri desided to play pretend with them just to go along with what they were doing.



"Hi there, miss" Buster said pretending and taking off the helmet. "Would you like to dance with me?"

Jeri giggled and answered, "I'd be insaluted if you didn't ask me."

Jeri started to dance with the boys, even though the boys were starting to calaspe from each other.

Jeri: *singing* I know you
        I walked with you once upon a dream
        
       I know you, the glem in your eyes is so firmilar, a glem

*Rip finally founds his stuff on the boys and that person who was singing the song earlier was Jeri*
         Yet I know it's true
         That vesions are saldom all they seem
         
          But if I know you, I know what you do
         
         You loved me at once, the way you did
         Once upon a dream

Rip watches Jeri dancing and singing, and he knows that he must have to her as his girlfriend.

Jeri: *singing* But if I know you, I know what you do *Rip pulls the boys away, and puts back on his shoes and jacket*

          You loved me at once *Rip comes in and joins her*

Rip & Jeri: The way you did once...*Jeri stops singing noticing something different about Buster's voice*

Rip: Upon a dream...*Jeri finds Buster, Furball, Concord, Plucky, and Skippy by the tables*

"Heh heh heh heh" the boys laughed with a surprise/confused looks on their faces.

Jeri turns back around to find out it was Rip singing with her.


"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," Rip apologised to Jeri

"I'm Rip Runner," he introduced himself to Jeri.

"Well you did startled me," Jeri said back. "Not that you frightened me, it just you're a-"

"A stranger?" Rip finished what Jeri ws trying to say. "Well, I ain't no stranger. We've met before."

"Uh, no you haven't. You just met, " Concord interupted.

"Shh!" Jeri's friends to Concord trying to listen to Rip and Jeri.

"He's about to make his move on her," Shirley whispers.

"We have?" Jeri asked Rip all confused

"Of course," Rip said trying to make Jeri stay with him "You said you saw me once in your dreams."


Rip: *sings* I know

       I know you, the glem in your eyes is so fimilar. a glem

Chrous:  Yet I know it's true *Rip and Jeri began to dance*
               That vision are saldom all the seem

                But If I know you, I know what you do
        
                You loved me at once
                 The way you did once upon a dream


Everyone watched the two lovebirds stop dancing and started to come close to each other as they started talking together.



"Yuck! Mushy love fluff!" Plucky said all grossed out

"Quiet Plucky!" Babs silent the green duck.


Rip looks at Jeri and asked, "So tell me, what's your name?"

"What?" Jeri lost in Rip's green eyes, "Oh my name! Well, my name is-"


Jeri suddenly looks at the town cloack to see the time.



"Oh no, I can't stay here to long!" Jeri said with alarm, "The Warners are expecting me to be back home!"

Jeri starts running away and picks up the delivery basket with ice cream for the Warners.

"Wait, when will we see each other again?" Rip asked as he was confused by the way Jeri is acting.


"Here again at the ice cream store at night," said Jeri trying to hurry, "There's always a night party at eight o'cloack."


Jeri starts running away back to the water tower.



"But I still didn't get your name," Rip was still asking, "What is it?"


Jeri stops and turns around to him.

"It's Jeri!" Jeri shouted from far away. "See you soon, Rip!"


Then Jeri disappears into the forest to go the watertower.


"Jeri," Rip sighed happily as he thinks about Jeri while going back to his motorcycle.


Rip starts driving back to his kingdom, tell his father about what happened today.
