Smurfs Cartoon Meme

Description

Unlike the other two Smurfs memes, this one is short and simple, and mostly based on only the cartoon and has a limit to only two things per box.

Favorite Smurfs:
Handy Smurf: My childhood crush, and I still have a mental crush on him and I'm not ashamed of it :blushes:

Clumsy: His so adorable, especially in the live-action movies.^^

*Honorable mentions: All the smurfs I have listed and mentioned on this meme kessielou.deviantart.com/art/M…

Least Favorite Smurfs:
Brainy Smurf: If one was to look up the words "brown-nose," "butt-kisser," tattle-tail," and "suck-up," those words describe Brainy Smurf to a "T". Heck, even his own reflection can't stand to hear him talk his lungs out.
If Brainy wants to prove to Papa Smurf that he is great, he should stop being a kiss-up like he's a total stalker.

Vanity Smurf: I don't like people who are full of themselves, even if Vanity did have some funny lines in the movie, he's obsession with himself comes to a point where he's use-less when there's trouble a foot.-_-'
As for the whole thing about Vanity being gay, sure he only views Smurfette as a friend, but he never had any sexually/romantic interests in the other male smurfs. In conclusion, Vanity is mostly likely to be metro-sexual and asexual.

*Minus, those two, there's no Smurf that I didn't like.

Favorite Non-Smurf Characters:
Johnathan/Johan & William/Peewit: Like "Marsupilami" (another Belgium-hit comic series), "The Smurfs" was actually a spin-off of another comic-series that lesser-known, and the series had these two gentlemen as the main characters.
"The Adventures of Johan & Peewit" was basically the Medieval-version of "Tintin" and "Spirou & Fantasio" (with Peewit coincidentally sharing the same character-design of Fantasio and the personality of Capt. Haddock). Although their comic series never continued, Johan & Peewit do appear in the Smurfs comics and cartoons as occasional guest-stars and crossovers.

In other words, they are the unofficial founders of the Smurfs, and first batch of human friends of the little blue fellows.
[And next to Handy Smurf, I also had a crush on Johan, mostly for his design (I have a thing for raven-hairs) and British-accent  ]
*Honorable mentions: The characters from "Johan & Peewit's " side (like Princess Savina & The King)
The Pussywillow Pixies
Marina & King Aquarius
Puppy
Smoogle
Azrael
Densia
Woody and Laconia

Least Favorite Non-Smurf Characters:
Gargamel: Gargamel is one of those villains I don't want to see win, not even once. Because obsession with wanting the Smurfs for his own purposes will do nothing but cause the entire Smurf species to go extinction.
In fact, the reason why magicians and other super-natural humans stopped using Smurfs as ingredients for their magic spells years ago, because they believed that those spells and potions made the Smurfs be extincted.
And all of those spells are banned now because of that.
So Gargamel is going to be responsible for three despicable crimes, endangering a rare species, animal abusement (for what he had done to Azrael), and using illegal spells. Good thing he was kicked out of Wizardry school, because the Wizard and Witch council will find out what he's being using for his magic and give him a punishment that's worse that what his mother has given him.:evileye:

Hogatha: God that irritating snorting and ugly mug (inside and out).:dohtwo:

*Dishonorable mentions:
Schole - If Gargamel wanted an apprentice, why didn't he just turned Azrael into a human-cat hybrid? It would be weird, but at least it would be more interesting than dealing with that little brat
Bigmouth
Evelyn
Odile (from the movie)

Favorite Episodes:
"Handy's Sweetheart"- I know, you hate this episode :iconoceanfairie:, but this was the episode that made me fell in love with Handy (along with the episode "Smurf-Colored Glasses" ). He was so sweet and romantic in that episode. Marina is so lucky to have a guy like Handy!

"Once in a Blue Moon"- The episode debut of the real Baby Smurf (not the impostor that was Gargamel in "The Baby Smurf" ). Not only was Baby Smurf cute, but the plot of the episode was very sweet and heart-felt, and a character development on Grouchy Smurf that shows his soft-side.
Though the ending of the comic is a lot different than the cartoon-version, the Smurfs didn't what until there was a real blue moon to see Baby again, it was Grouchy's love for his little brother and the pleading letter that Smurfette wrote that made Baby stay in the village, blue moon or not.

Well that doesn't fully solve the mystery of the Smurfs' births, but it does hinted out that Papa might have an outer-species wife (who he kept as a secret from his sons for years) and it involves the moon's stages of when it's the right time for baby Smurfs to be "delivered." :paranoid:

*Honorable mentions:
The Valentines Day Specials
The Christmas Specials (including the Christmas Carol one)
The Easter specials
The Smurf-Colored Glasses
The Smurfette
Squeaky
Smurfette's Blue Rose
The Smurf's Apprentice
The Smurflings
Jokey's Shadow
Foul Weather Smurfs
Hefty's Heart
A Hug for Grouchy
Etc.

Least Favorite Episodes:
Sleepwalking Smurfs: This episode is just like the Spongebob episode "Dear Vikings" where everything was rushed weak, and have what is an unfinished and unsatisfied ending. And it had so many opportunities missed what could've been a decent episode.

*King Smurf: This is where Brainy Smurfs is at his most worst and lost his mind to power. After Papa Smurf left the village for week to gather some ingredients for his potions, and he made a bad choice of letting Brainy in charge of the village while he's gone.
Because after Papa was gone, Brainy official declared himself king and made the other Smurfs be his servants. And did Brainy even learned a lesson from all of this? No, he just became an even bigger jerk than usual, if he's gonna be like that if becomes the next leader, he's so not fitting for the job!:X

*Dishonorable mention:
"The Smurfiest of Friends"- I didn't like this episode because 1.) The character of Buddy the Goblin scared the Hell out of me when I was a kid, and 2.) His plan to use Brainy was really weak. Really? Using Brainy to run a treadmill? :ohmygod: Wouldn't more logical to try to suck out Brainy's intelligence or use his brain for an experiment?
Episodes of Season 8 (which I'll explain next)

Favorite Season(s):
Seasons 1 to 7

Least Favorite Season (s):
Season 8- This was when the writers and animators were running out of ideas, and have the show ripoff the time-travel events that have happened before in Hanna-Barbera's previous works, every cartoon ever existed, and "Doctor Who."
And was the final season of the cartoon series, I wonder why? :evileye:

Favorite One-Shot Characters:
Sweepy Smurf: Sweepy certainly is better than Sloppy Smurf (and doesn't have a foul case of B.O and dragon-breath), and his Aussie accent is adorable.
And I would've love to see more of him in cartoon, and would've been great pals with Miner (who I think is his twin).
But luckily, since Sweepy is a fan-favorite one-hit wonder, Sweepy is including on the Smurfs' App games and gives the players extra HP and materials to help them in the games.:)

And am I the only one who thinks it would be cute if Sweepy had soot sprite/gremlins (like the ones from "Totorro" & "Spirited Away" ) as pets? ^^

Wooly Smurf: Wooly is a nice little chap.:)

Honorable Mention:
Clockwork Smurfette: From the episode title of the same name, the plot is somewhat like "The Bride of Frankenstein," but with a different plot-twist of the female creation falling in love with her inventor.
What happened of what was suppose to be a bride made for Clockwork Smurf, the Clockwork Smurfette ends up falling for her inventor, Handy, instead.
The episode itself may not be as great as it sounds, but I think this episode deserves a remake/rewrite with Clockwork Smurf himself being out of this.
To be honest, I think Clockwork Smurfette had better per misses than her male counter-part and would've been an interesting character to add to the cast.

To make a long story short, before Chi from "Chobits" and Weebo from "Flubber," CW Smurfette was the original female robot to have romantic feelings for her master/creator but lives a tragic life because she longs to be a real woman to be with her man.

For the last box, I don't have a favorite disguise.

Two other episodes where Brainy was at his worst were when he was a huge jerk to Clumsy in "Clumsy Luck" and "The Smurfy Verdict".
