The Wiz of Oz: Chapt 7

    Once again had walked for miles down the Yellow Brick road, and they all eventually stopped for a moment, this time they stopped by creek.
Pluto had desided to take a drink of the water in the creek, but down below, there was something the water watching him and started to swin up to the top of the creek.

Pluto eventually saw some bubbles coming up rapidly like the water was boiling. And coming up out of the water was a head that looks like a dog, but was made out of water.

"Hey mac!" the water dog said looking all angerly at Pluto, "Watch where you're stick tongue in other people's homes."

The Water-Dog eventually rosed his enter body up out of the water, and scared Pluto.

Kimberley, Scarecrowjack, and Tin Duck heard Pluto barking, and ran up by creek to see what's all of the camotion Pluto was barking about.
Kim eventually found Pluto hiding behiond a tree, all shaking with fright.

"What did you saw that scared you, boy?" she asked Pluto,  "Did you see The Wicked Warlock?"

Pluto shook his head and pointed out to the creek and whimpering.


All three of them looked at the creek and saw nothing there.

"I don't see any water monster here, it's just a plain oridanery creek" Tin Duck shrugged

"The dog proubelly saw his reflection in reflection in the moving water," Scarecrowjack added

Pluto eventually got out from behind the tree and pulled on to Kim's pants to tell her to go see the water for herself.


Kim looked at the water and saw nothing coming out of the water.

"Pluto, I don't see anything in the water" Kim said to her dog "You're proubelly just tired from walking too long."


Then eventually the Water Dog rosed above the water again.

"I thought I told you to not lick the creek with your tongue in it!" he said to Pluto.

This Kimberley saw the Water Dog, she was afraid of him at first, but then she suddenly recongized him or at least he looked familiar.

"Hi there!" The Water Dog said to Kim with a smile

"Liquidator?!" Kim said to the Water Dog

"Liquid-who?" the Water Dog asked

Kim apologised, "Sorry, it's just that you look just like someone I knew, and I didn't mean to call you that."

Then the Water Dog looked at Scarecrowjack and Tin Duck, and he recongized them

"Boq! Fiyaro!" he said to them

"Maguire?" Tin Duck said to the Water Dog

"It is ol' Mag!" Scarecrowjack added as recongized the Water Dog quickly

"Good to see you, pal!" Tin Duck said again to the Water-Dog

"You know them?" Kim asked

"Sure, I went to Shiz High with them" said the Water Dog as he came out of the water and onto the grass

Kim looked at Scarecrowjack and Tin Duck and said, "Did you guys went to high school with a dog made out water."

"No, he wasn't made out of water the last time we saw him" Tin Duck said to Kim

"We thought that he thought he died two days before graduation."

"Died?" Kim gasped

"Yeah, we heard that he was drowned into the whirlpool pit," nodded Scarecrowjack

"I wasn't just drowned, Alphonzo dropped me in it" said Water Dog

"But why did he do that you and how did you survive and become liquid?" Kim asked Water Dog

The Water Dog began to tell his story.

How the Water Dog's story went was that back at Shiz High, he was a normal anthro dog named Maguire Schwartz and he was like assistant to Alphonzo and Rosaleen.
But they treated him more like a slave, and Maguire couldn't stand it any longer. So he rebelled on them and quit.
Maguire thought he was safe from them, until one day when he was above the cliff where the whirlpool pit was at the bottom of it.

Alphonzo caught Maguire all alone, threatened him, and dangled him above the spot where the whirlpool is.
And eventually dropped him into it to drown him.

Maguire/Water Dog thought he was dead, but it turned out that he was actually still alive and beached on the edge of the creek as if it was a mircal that he survived. Only he wasn't himself anymore, but made out of water like the whirlpool gave him the ability to turn into water.

"Strange story," said Kimberley

"You better believe it," said Water Dog   "By the way, why are you doing out here by the creek?"

"We're on our way to the Emerald City to go see The Wizard to see if he can grant our wishes," Kim explained

"To give me and Pluto way back home to Kanas, Tin Duck a heart, and a brain for Scarecrowjack."

"If you guys are going there, then I'm going too" said Water Dog

"What do you the Wizard to grant you?" asked Tin Duck

Water Dog, "I want him to see he would've make me more usefull, instead just being a walking-talking beverage."


Water Dog: *starts to sing* I'm just a dog made of liquid
                      Living with the fish, prawns, crabs, frogs, and a
                         big squid
                         And you tell me,
                        What good am I?

                      I'm not as sold or stable as slime
                     I could either freeze, evaporated, and never dry
                     But that's just a big waste of time
                     Oh please, tell me
                     What good am I?

                     Having algea, seaweed, and rocks as a dojo
                      I'm getting sick of it in everyway
                    Face it, I'll a need is a brand new mojo
                    So I can leave this low wet life and start a new one,
                           That's what I say

                     If I was more than just a walking pond of bore,
                        Then I'll get some respect I deserve
                      But let's face it, it might not happen
                                 So please tell me,
                             What good am I use for?



"Well, what are we waiting for?" said Kim
"Come on lets get back on the road and go to Emerald City."

"You can came with us too, Water Dog."

So now there are four people on their way to the Emerald City to see the Wizard, but the next place down the Yellow Brick road might lead the gang to danger and terror.
