The Wiz of Oz: Prolouge

Darkwing Duck: *narrorating* The St. Canard Movie Theather, where most of blockbusters and flops are filmed, but tonight it's going to be different.  
For you see tonight is the big premire of it's latest film, "The Wiz of Oz," starring me, Darkwing Duck!

"I can see it all now" Darkwing said as he was getting all excited about his first big break, "Once everyone sees the film, I'll be getting awards!"

"Lots and lots of them!"

"Mabey they'll bring my show back on the air, and I can have a comic deal with Marvel!"

Gosalyn, all unimpressed by her her dad's over-load fanatsy said "Dad, it's a movie premire, not The Oscars."

"I knew that," Darkwing said as he came to his sences

"But you'll never know, I might get nominated for "Best Actor" in the movie when the Oscars are gonna come."

Gosalyn rolled her eyes and smiled a bit for her dad.

"Come on," said their piolet friend Launchpad
"Let's get inside the theather before all of the good seats are taken."

Darkwing and Gosalyn heard what Launchpad said, and fallowed him inside the theather.



  From wall to wall, the whole entire movie theather was packed with Disney characters (general, film, and afternoon cartoons) all waiting to watch the movie.

Darkwing, Gos, and Launchpad started to search for the seats until they found a row of seasts between the "Ducktales" seat rows and the "Rescue Rangers" seat rows, that had a sign that said "These rows of seats are for the cast of Darkwing Duck only."

"That's what I call V.I.P treatment," Darkwing said "A two rows of seats just for me."

Gosayln looked at Darkwing and said, "Those seats are for all of us, dad."

"Oh, right" Darkwing said looking embarssed for a moment, "You go in first, Gosalyn."

Gosalyn sat down on her seat, which was next the seat where Darkwing is going to sit at.


"Hey dad," Gosalyn said to Darkiwng  "Could you go to the snack bar and get me some chocolate-covered popcorn and a drink of Coca-Cola while you're-"

Before Gos could finish what she was saying, Darkwing pulled out the popcorn and drink Gosalyn wanted out of his pockects.

"Thanks," Gosalyn said to her father as she takes the popcorn and soft-drink

Then Darkwing added, "Now you better drink that soda very slowly cause I'm not gonna let you take a bathroom break to miss parts of the movie."

"Oh yeah, that reminds me," Launchpad interupted and started to rush to the bathroom very quickly.


Darkwing sat down on his seat, trying to relax and enjoy the whole premire. The last thing he needed that would ruin the premire would be if the Muddlefoots and his enemies were in the theather to see the movie as well.

Just when things were getting good so far, the whole Muddlefoot family was there going down the hall,looking for their seats.

"Why look, Binkie" said Herb Muddlefoot, "There are of seats there for all of us!"

Darkwing opened his eyed wide with alarm as he heard the sound of Herb's annoying voice.

"Oh, you're right,dear " said Herb's wife Binkie, "And they are next to Darkwing Duck and Gosalyn."


"Oh no!" Darkwing moaned down did a face-palm, "Not the Muddlefoots!"

Each of The Muddlefoots started to scoot down the row of seats where Darkwing and Gosalyn are, and Darkwing had many different bad expirents while they were going down the row.


Herb cruntched up Darkwing far back on his seat like an air bag, Binkie and Tank seated on Darkwing's feet, and Honker just jumped on Darkwing's stomach.

Gosalyn looked at Honker, who is seating right next to her, and whispered happily,  "Keen gear that you showed up just in time, Honk."

Honker whispered back, "I didn't want to miss the premire for anything, especially seeing Tank in that Munchkin costume."

The two started to laugh about it, while Darkwing is all annoyed that Herb, Binkie, and Tank were here.


"Oh great, my annoying neighbors are here in the theathers," Darkwing said to himself

"Who's gonna come next? My arch-enemies?"




And just when Darkwing was paranoid enough now that the Muddlefoot are here, his arch-enemies, The Fearsome Five, were here as well!

Megavolt, Bushroot, Quackerjack, Liquidator, and the fearsomest of all, Negaduck, were all together in the theather.
Only instead of have stolen money, jewels, or any other stuff they usually rob in their arms, they were carrying buckets of popcorn, with their choice of candy in the side-pouches of the buckets (Junior Mints, Reese Pieces, Goobers, Air-Heads taffy, and Sour Shockers), Dips icecream snacks, and cups and bottles of soda and water.


  Darkwing jumped out of his seat and pulls out his gun.

"Hold it right there, you low-life villains!" he shouted out to the Fearsome Five

"Cool it, Duncewing," said Negaduck "We're here to see the movie too."

"A likely story," said Darkwing "Where did you get those snacks?"

"We got them at the snack bar," Bushroot answered

"Ay-huh!" shouted Darkwing again, "So do you also admit you stole those snacks?"

"No, the snack vendors gave them to us for free," Megavolt answered

"What?" Darkwing suddenly began to be all confused, "They gave you those snacks?"

Liquidator explained, "Sure, every major star that was in this gets anything they want for free, and that includes free snacks, free drinks, free refills, free passes, and much more! For three nights only."

"How come I didn't get the stuff for free?" asked Darkwing

"Cause you didn't have a major role in the movie, duh" Negaduck

"Hey! I may not've had a major role in the film, but at least I was suppose to be important then the role you had, Negaduck!" Darkwing started to argue with Negaduck

"With your short size, should've been a Munchkin!"

"Look who's talking?" Quackerjack said to his team mates, and they all started to laugh as they were getting to their seats, which is in the row below where Darkwing is seating at.


Then Launchpad finally came back from the bathroom.

"Sorry, that I kept you guys waiting," said Launchpad to Darkwing and Gosalyn

"There was a big line in the Men's room, and-"  , he looked at the row below Darkwing and saw the Fearsome Five all seating down.

"DW!" Launchpad gasped, "It's The Fearsome Five! Quick, tyed them up and I'll get the ushers."

"Relax, Launchpad" said Darkwing looking all grouchy, "They just here to see the movie (but I'm still keeping me eye on them)."

"You're right," said Launchpad as he was sitting down on his seat, "Let's just forget about them and watch the movie."




Before the movie started, Duckburg's multi-trillionare Scooge McDuck, who is the host of tonights premire of film, came up to the stage to make announcement.

"Welcome to the St. Canard theathers, ladies and gentlemen," said Scooge to the audience

"Before we start the program I just wanted to let you all know that everyone that was in this film has worked hard on their lines, numbers, and props on the sets (and not to mention how very expensive it was to make the film)."


The audience just look at screen with blank faces as Scrooge was looking all nervous about how much the film and the premire time cost him.


"Anyways," Scrooge added

"Please turn off your cellphones, iPhones, iPods, and no talking during the film as we proudly present to you, the world premire of 'The Wiz of Oz!' "


The audience started to clap really loud as the curtins were pulling open.

"It'll be a lot better if didn't have eight things to about here tonight," Darkwing pouted

"Shhhh! The movie is starting," Gosalyn whispered to her dad.

Darkwing finally sat back and relax as the film was finally starting.
