Now here's my Top 10 Favorite Animated Cats!:3
For my fellow cat-lovers!
#10. Tiger (An American Tail/Fival Goes West): I loved this guy ever since I saw "Fival Goes West" (since I saw that movie before the first one).
He's lovable, fluffy, and down-right hilarious! Even today his scenes in "Fival Goes West" still make me laugh really hard, especially when Wiley Burp was training him to be a dog!
R.I.P Dom Deluise for bringing this character to life!
#09. Meowth (Pokemon): I feel sorry for this guy. Not only for his backstory, but how the creators wasted a character like him.
Meowth has been my favorite Pokemon ever since the franchise was brand new at the time, and it's just painful to watch a good character being stuck with Jessie & James all of the time, and doing the same crap they've done for 23 years!
I wished he'd just quit, and go his own seperate ways.
#08. Puss in Boots (Dreamworks): Do I need to say anything else?
#07. The Disney kittens: I couldn't choose which kitten was more cuter, so I put them all in the same spot together.
Figaro, Dinah, Marie, Toulousse, Berlious, Oliver (not pictured), Mr. Pettibone (not pictured), the orphan kittens (not pictured), and the kitten from "Lend a Paw" (also nor pictured);
They are all adorable enough tug on the heart-strings!
#06. Tom (Tom & Jerry): The biggest half (literally) of Hannah-Barbera's first cartoon stars and one of the famous accident-proned characters of all time.
No matter how many times he gets hurt, Tom always gets back on his feet, and then gets hurt again.
But in the end (mostly), Tom makes it out live and injured.
Though I can't say the same thing for his Simpsons' counter-part, Scratchy.:dohtwo:
#05. Sylvester (Looney Tunes): Another unfortunate accident-proned character who I root for more than the prey he was chasing.
But at least Tom only had to deal with one mouse (Jerry) most of the time, Sylvester has to handle a slippery "innocent" canary (Tweety), and a fast Mexican mouse (Speedy Gonzales).
While he's not chasing after food, Sylvester is also a kind father figure that'll do anything to impress his son.
#04. Garfield: It's a good thing Garfield here is not another accident-prone feline that gets out-smarted by someone smaller than him, like the cats before him.
Not only does Garfield hold a record for being the first cat star in a comic-book strip, he also has human traits in him that we all can relate to (sometimes we hate Monday, and feel like we don't wanna get up).
His comics are the first things I looked forward to in the papers, and they always make me laugh.
#03. Hello Kitty (Sanrio): Over-rated or not, Hello Kitty will still be around, no matter what.
Because she's one of the first anime characters Japan was nice enough to share with us, and she's age-lessly cute!
#02. Cat in the Hat (Dr. Seuss): Forget the fact that his books are mostly for younger kids, Cat is more than just a children's book icon.
He's got a lot of class, smarts, humor, and charms that'll never out-grow our hearts and imagination.
And he opens people's minds to a world that's brighter than the real world.
#01. Felix the Cat: Why is he #1? How about the fact that he was the one that started the evolution of cartoons (not Mickey Mouse).
If it weren't for this cute little guy we wouldn't have the cartoon characters, comic book characters, or even video-game characters that we know and loved.
So the better why to put it is:
"It all started with a Cat, a Rabbit influenced it, and passed the torch onto a Mouse."
