Top 10 Characters That Deserve Better

Description

Now we've come to the characters that deserve better than what they are credited for and how people see them.

And here are 10 characters in my opinion that I think deserve more credit:

#10.) Applejack from "MLP: FiM": People basically calling Applejack a background character because she barely has any big roles in the cartoon, and they are calling her "boring."
Applejack is a hard-worker that'll do anything to help her family & business a float, and she is one of the most dimensional characters on the show that hasn't be Flanderized by the writers most fans hate the most.

Do something Hub to prove them wrong, and Applejack is a better character than what they say!

#09.) Max Goof (Disney general): He has a very large fan-base & great quality/character of being character/player in "Kingdom Hearts," yet he hardly gets diddly-squat to have bigger roles.
Now Max only appears as cameos, books, and direct-to-video/DVD films.

#08.) Princess Rosalina (Super Mario Bros. franchise)- Like Peach & Daisy, Rosalina is mostly portrayed in fanart as just eye-candy with no personality.
Rosalina is more than just a pretty face you know, you perverts!:X She's wise, helpful, welds magic powers, is the strongest by heart, and is capable to take care of millions of Lumas.
Hopefully in the new Mario party games, they'll make the fanboys stop staring at her like a piece of meat & actually see her character outside of her looks alone.

#07.) Derpy Hooves (MLP:FiM): Sometimes the best characters/characters that get the most memorable memes of them are the background characters (look at how popular some of the Bikini Bottom-Mites were in several episodes of Spongebob).
But when Derpy finally stepped out of the background and started to speak, the fan cheered but the censors were disgusted.
And they censored out Derpy after only saying a few lines.

Honestly, out of all the dumb characters they wanted to scrap *cough* Mr. Krabs *cough* current Patrick Star *cough*, they had to get rid of the one that was the least offensive.-_-

#06.) Spongebob Squarepants (from the past seasons & several episodes of the current ones): I know Spongebob has reduced to a character that is annoying, beyond childish, stupid, even more gayer than his old-self was claimed to be, and is behaving like a creepy stalker.
But underneath all of that rubbish, there are some rare current season episodes where this Spongebob acted like the Spongebob used to know a long time ago, and gets tortured & hated for no reason to a point that we forget that this is the current Spongebob on the screen and feel sorry for him.

Mostly in episodes in current like "The Splinter," "Gone," "Stuck in a Wringer," and "Little Yellow Book," it seems like even the writers of those episodes want him dead (I wouldn't be surprised since 3 of them wrote most of the worst episodes of the show).

#05.) (tie) The current carnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Casey Jones: Despite how many fans of the previous carnations like these versions of their favorite characters, and how their merchandise is selling like hotcakes; apparently there are still some uptight "nostalgic" fans and Nazi fangirls that actually still hate it and whine about how they miss the 2003 cartoon, wish it was back, and how it was better than what we got now.

Listen! TMNT is a popular franchise, so there are gonna be some different incarnations & adaptations to please the fans who have different tastes and you're gonna have to accept that! And the 2003 cartoon ended 6 years ago, move on!

Besides the 2012 version actually has gained a lot more positive things & accepting changes
*The Turtles are finally acting like flawed & dimensional teenagers and realistic brothers than their previous incarnates
*The show has a balance of sources from the comics (minus the blood), the 87 cartoon, and the 2003 cartoon
*April & Casey are portrayed as teenagers so it'll look less creepy to see a person in their 30's hanging out if 15 year olds
*The director of the show is also the director for the previous "Teen Titans" show
*The animation is both computer-generated & hand-drawn (mostly their facial expressions)
*It has it's heart-warming (not too mushy) family moments at times
*Most of the episodes/specials are well written
*It helped the franchise gained more fans, and some of those new fans never liked nor seen the previous carnations until now.

However the only thing I have to nitpick about the show are how they are shoehorning in couples & the teen drama that comes with the couples.

I love the carnations of Leonardo & Donatello on the show, but the whole pairings thing is like sticking a thorn into what their characters are like without getting involved in "romance."
Leo needs to get over/dump Karai/Miwa because she's been nothing but trouble since she came into his life, and should never again take romantic advise from a parody fictional character that's probably as big of a womanizer as Captain Kirk.

And the whole DonatelloxAprilxCasey has been nothing but a Trojan War between the fans and characters, and many people are hating Casey for "stealing" Donnie's girl from him.
I actually like this version of Casey, because he's a lot more tolerable than the 2003 one (who in my opinion was a total bone-head) and is actually a funny and cool guy. Like a male Rainbow Dash.

I'd prefer that neither Donnie nor Casey get the girl and stop this nonsense,  or have April sacrifice herself so the boys won't have no one to fight over for (harsh yes, but in some of endings of the Trojan story, Helen sacrificed herself & die to bring peace to both sides).

Some people even say that Season 2 has already become a hit & miss, they are already comparing to the current seasons of Spongebob (Ouch!).

So Nickelodeon, do us all a favor and get rid of the pairings & make the characters be developed without any romantic drama, and hire more good writers to make great episodes that want to make people watch the series all the way through. And keep it away from being close to "Spongebob" territory like what some are saying about your previous/current season.

#04.) Mcdonald' original characters: Soccer parents are saying that these guys are promoting & causing kids to be obese?
Blow me! It's not the characters' fault, it's their own fault for not having the guts to say "no" to your kids.
Plus, Ronald McDonald & friends (Birdie, Hamburglar, Grimise, the Fry Kids, and the McNuggets) are likable and individual characters like the M&M's, and they are practically as antique as any fast food mascots.
And are certainly a lot more better than those creepy CTC (Cinnamon Toast Cruch) Munchy wannabees.

#03.) Randall Boggs from "Monsters Inc./University" : I mean, they could've done more to Randall's back story in "Monsters University," it wouldn't kill them to make a sub-plot about his evolution from shy nerdy room-mate to competitive company rival. I know the movie was more focused on Mike & Sulley because they are the main characters, still it wouldn't hurt.

Plus, Randall is a fan-favorite that many want to see and learn about him, and shouldn't be rush like we're suppose to that bizarre change of his character like that.

Oh well, guess that's what fan-fics are for.

#02.) Princess Aurora/Brier Rose from "Disney's Sleeping Beauty": Next to Snow White (and apparently Elsa and Anna from "Frozen" ), Aurora is one of the most hated Disney Princesses because people had found her boring & uninteresting, and her movie ended the princess movies for a long time.

I'll admit that I am kind of peeved that despite her being the title character, the movie was more focused on her fairy god-mothers than her. There could've been more scenes and dialog of Aurora (as well as Prince Philip), but than again Disney didn't have enough money during the production, so a lot things were cut out of the movie to prevent going over how the production will cost the studio.

Now with that out of the way, with Aurora not having very much screen was what (least what I think) also made her more interesting because she keeps people guessing about what her life with the fairies was like.
Because during that one scene when the fairies were trying to get rid of her to prepare her birthday surprise, she actually is aware of what they are planning to do. And seeing how she isn't surprised to find out that Flora, Fauna, and Merriweather were fairies; that indicates that Aurora knew they were fairies long ago before finding out the truth of her being a princess.
That also was extended later in a direct to DVD short (and short stories), that Aurora actually does know how to use the fairies wands & learned a few magic tricks as well.

Not to mention that during the climax, when Maleficent hypnotizes Aurora to touch the spindle, Aurora had a scared look on her face and she tried to pull her hand away from the spindle (but Maleficent's powers were to strong for her). So Aurora was also aware of Maleficent and her curse.

Adding it all up, Aurora is actually the first magical princess long before the anime craze of that character kicked in.:O_o:

#01.) Furrball from "Tiny Toons Adventures": What's the world have against this innocent little kitty?:( He'd never done anything wrong (sure he tried to eat Sweetie, but he can't help it that's in cats' nature, and Sweetie is a brat).
Furrball has been bullied by other stray alley cats, gets kicked out by people who think that he's an "ugly useless miserable beast", gets beaten up every second, chased by dogs, and gets the most animal-abuse "love" from Elmyra.

He's basically the punching bag of Acme Acres, and was the original most tortured character long before the likes of Squidward & Meg Griffin.:'(

It's cat characters like Furrball, even if he's fictional, that are the reason why there are multiple animal-protection facilities protect abused & neglected animals, especially cats.
If Furrball was a real cat, I would adopt him in a heart-beat and would give him a nice where he'll be well loved the right way.
