Turtle Gens: Michelangelo

Description

Now here's the sketch collage of the 4 different styles of my favorite Turtle, Michelangelo (aka Mikey). :D

1. The Original 1984 Mirage Comic Design: You TMNT fans remember that Mikey is suppose to be the party-animal of the 4 Turtle brothers?
Well with the Mirage comic design, does that guy look like he loves to party? (he sure doesn't like it to me :fear: )

2. The 1987 Cartoon design: Now here's the version of Mikey we late 80's and 90's kids love to pieces.
With his California surfer-accent, funny lines, and friendly face, how can you not love him? ^^

3. The 2003 cartoon design: Out of all of the 2003 Turtles, this version of Mikey I didn't like the most (especially his scartchy voice).
Because 4Kids portrayed him as an annoyance and is always the butt of his brothers' jokes.
Not mention, he always gets beaten up by his brothers, even he didn't do anything wrong.

4. My Design/Take: For the personality I give to Mikey in my version, his personality is crossed between the personalities he had in the 87 cartoon and movies (including the 2007 one).
He's still obsessed with pizza and his comics, a big flirt when it comes to the ladies, and is a bit cocky when it comes to the fighting. But he still has a good heart, and the more innocent out of all of his brothers.

Michelangelo belongs to Mirage comics, and Laird and Eastman

I love the nunchuck spinning here!

Also, my personal take on his relationship with Mina: Given the impulsive nature they share, they’d be the first to fall for each other but might not necessarily be as loyal to each other as the others on their respective teams (not in the cheating sense, they’d never do that) but that they’d be easily distracted by other pursuits and interests to a degree that might lead to conflict. They’d resolve it easily due to their easygoing ways of course, but that mutual free-spiritedness is something they’d both have to come to terms with at some point.
