Description
Here's something that's not fully TMNT related, but guest/co-starred in crossovers with the TMNT media.
This is Usagi Yojimbo, a semi alley of the Turtles.
What I like about Usagi is that he reminds me of Puss in Boots (from the Shrek movies) and Ace Bunny (from Loonatics Unleashed);
He may be based off of a cute and cuddly animal, but he's leathal, merciless, yet charming and cunnying.
1. The Original 1984 Comic Design: Released on the same year as TMNT, Usagi was created by Stan Sakai, a friend of the TMNT creators (that explains the crossovers)
2. The 1987 Cartoon Design: This the way Usagi was drawn when he co-starred in 3 TMNT episodes.
He looks somewhat kind of cute more than visious in those episodes.
Though I was disappointed that he got over-shadowed by another rabbit (who was actually a use-less and point-less character)-_-
3. The 2003 Cartoon Design: Despite that way he's designed and they made him grey (instead of white). At least his character makes it up.
Plus his voice-actor, Jason Griffon, actually managed to give him a voice that suits him.
4. My Take/Design: Usagi wasn't very complicated to draw.
The changes I give to Usagi are; I gave him a smoother face, some flesh in his ears (like a real rabbit), his clothes more fitting than loose, and I give him wrapped-up hands (with black knuckle-guards).
I wouldn't mind seeing Usagi get his own feature film (if they do it right). I'd go see it.
(Miyamoto) Usagi Yojimbo belongs to Stan Sakai
Drawings, color, and ink by me.

I remember reading the comic in High School. It was good.
