This is from FNaF 3, so far I'm impressed & disturbed that Cawthen is putting some time and effort into it than the previous two (so don't pressure him to make the release date as soon as possible).

That is a human corpse under Salvage/Spring Trap's (that's the "new" animatronic's name)head...and it's been said that's the corpse of the Purple Guy who murdered those kids years ago.O_O

So Freddy & friends did get their revenge on the man that ruined everything for them, and that explains why the Phone Guy assumed they stuff people into suits because he witnessed them killing Vincent/Purple Guy and stuffing him in Spring Trap.
However, just like them, Spring Trap is also activated at night. So the Fazbear gang kept him hidden so he won't go back to his old killing spree again (in the first game, I guessed they hid him in the kitchen's pantry, so Chica & Freddy weren't just in there to make themselves snacks).
And since it's confirmed that Spring Trap was suppose to be a Frankenstein's monster-like abomination with parts of each of the Fazbear characters, ST was also the one that killed Phone Guy.
