Don't Blame the Baby

It is true, beside the characters genders (like girls on a guys show, or guys on a girls show), most hard-core fanbrats of any show hate the babies, children, or siblings of the main characters, because they blame them for ruining the show.

Examples like:
Baby Dil from "Rugrats"
Fergus, Farkle, and Felicia (the Ogre triplets) from "Shrek"
Baby Poof from "The Fairly Odd Parents"
Melody from "The Little Mermaid 2"
Jane from "Peter Pan 2"
Pebbles and Bam-Bam from "The Flintstones"
Baby Smurf from "The Smurfs"


Even the fans of the Disney-version Marsupilami hate the Marathon version of Marsupilami because of the Marsu-Triplets (even thought THAT'S exactally how Mars is portrayed in the comics, as a family man).



If any who is to blame for 'ruining' their favorite shows, it's the staff for not doing as well as they used too, not a fictional character.


Besides, sometimes having a baby character coming into the picture, actually can be a good sorce of character developement to the other characters.


Like say if a character is an only-child, and when they get a new baby brother/sister later on the show, they began to show a more mature side to them, and learn about responsibility.


And it even proves that some of the most immature/unlikely characters might become/are great parents.
