The story of Oswald took place not too long ago before Mickey was created, but during that same time, Walt Disney wasn't even a head master of his own studio then. Walt Disney used to be animator at different studio that was even made before Disney Studios exisited.
It all started way back somewhere in the year of 1927, and it was just about time for everyone to leave the studio to come home for the night.
Walt Disney was about the last one to check out for the night, but just before he could leave, there was a crying noise that he heard that was coming from the animation room.
As he check to see where the source of the cry came from, Walt saw an empty ink tube that had ink spilled out of it all of the floor near his desk.
When Walt picked up the empty tube, he noticed that the crying noise he heard had suddenly stopped, and right under his desk where the ink stain is, were two big black eyes looking at him.
It was a baby black toon rabbit with a white face, little floppy ears, and was as small as a saucer.
Walt picked up the little guy and asked, "How did you get here?"
The baby rabbit couldn't speak, but he pointed out to the ink tube to give Walt a hint of how he was made and how he ended up under his desk.
Walt looked at the baby rabbit again and spoke, "I see, you must've being made while I was thinking of a new character for the short film, right?"
The baby rabbit nodded with a little smile on his face.
"Well, you should know that you shouldn't be here all alone in here, other wise my boss might caught you wondering around the studio," Walt said to the baby rabbit firmly, but nice
"But for now, I'll take you home with me to my family for the night," Walt added as he got up from the with the baby rabbit in his hands
"My wife and daughters would like to meet you."
So Walt walked out of the animation room with the baby toon rabbit with him.
A few hours later, Walt finally came home just in time for dinner.
When he entered the the house and put away his hat and brief case, Walt's two daughters, Melissa and Diane, started tackle and hug him like what kids do when they glad to see their parents coming home from work.
Then Walt's wife, Lillian came in from the kitchen to greet her husband back home.
"Welcome back dear," she said to her husband
"Daddy, did you bring us something?" Melissa asked like what every kid ask their parents when they come back from work
"Can we see it?" Diane added
"Well, I may not have something for you girls" Walt said to his daughters
"But I will show you something that was created in the studio today."
"Is it a skecth?" Lillian asked
"No, but you are close" Walt answered, as he reaches into his pocket and pull out the baby toon rabbit
"I found him under my desk in the animation room."
"Oh Walt, he's adorable!" Lillian said as she looks at the baby rabbit.
"Is he our new pet?" Diane asked
"He's not a pet, girls, and he's more then just something you can play with like toy" Walt said to Melissa and Diane
"Then can we at least hold him?" Melissa asked
"Sure, but he's still a baby so be gentle with him," Walt added as he hands the baby toon rabit to her.
"So what did they name him?" Lillian asked walt about the baby rabbit's name
"I was the only one that found him, so I decided to him for myself," Walt said to Lillian
"I decided to call him Oswald."
"Oswald?" Diane said with a puzzled face
"That's a funny name," Melissa giggled as she said it
"I think it's a wonderful name for him," Lillian said as she tickled Oswald's little tummy
After little Oswald giggled from his tickle, his little tummy started to grumble.
"I think he's hungry, Mommy" said Melissa
"Well he's in luck cause dinner is ready and we better eat it before it gets cold," Lillian replied
"Come on Oswald, you can sit by me," Diane said to Oswald as she takes him from Melissa and runs to the kitchen
"No, he's sitting by me," Melissa started to agrue while trying to chase after her sister.

Oswald's Return - Chapter One
Chapter One
Oswald muttered to himself as he shoved the items into the too-small suitcase. The mound of shorts, all of which were made of the same simple blue fabric, refused to fit into the brown bag, which was currently lying open on Oswald's bed. Continuing his frustrated mumblings, Oswald slammed down the suitcase's lid and sat on it, promptly snapping down the clasps before the thing had a chance to fight back.
"Hah!" Oswald declared triumphantly at the suitcase, which was practically bursting at the seams. The rabbit was unsure as to why it was so stuffed, seeing as its only contents were a few pairs of shorts, some old photos, and

Here's another chapter of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's background story.
The beginning is similar to the beginning in my "Where's Donald" fanfic, but it takes place at Universal Studios, when Walt Disney used to an animator for the Alice short films, which were silent short films about a live-action girl named Alice (not the Alice from Alice in Wonderland) just having adventures in a animated world (which is actually just her running round a blue screen.
I tried to submit this on my labtop back at my college drom, but for some odd reason DA won't allow any artist's work submited on a different computer that have no files.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit belongs to Disney
